1.- Rutini, Colleccion Malbec, from Mendoza, Argentina.
A gorgeous Malbec from vineyards across Altamira, Gualtallary and La Consulta. A full bodied, yet refined wine with plenty of red cherry and red currant fruit, a touch of plum, a little hint of vanilla from oak ageing and fine, round tannins. A classic Argentinian Malbec.
Very intense red with violet tinges. Red fruits (cherry, currant) and a touch of plum are alive in the nose in this very accomplished red. French oak imparts toasted notes, while the American barrel extends its classic vanilla. Full bodied palate yet refined, thanks to its concentrated fruit character buttressed by a tannic structure characteristic of Cahors reds. Serving temperature: 14º-17ºC Aging potential: 10 years.
1.- Elsa Bianchi Malbec & Pinot Noir blend, Rose, from Mendoza, Argentina.
Very Seductive and attractive pink colour, with a salmon tone that reminds us of the typical colour of the Rose wines from Provence region. An intense wine of fresh aromas, some citric and mineral notes, perfectly balanced with aromas of berries and raspberries. A delicate wine in the mouth, with a refreshing acidity and aromas of red fruit and flowery hints on the palate. Very good structure and mild sweetness.
1.- Luigi Bosca, Granos Nobles, Gewurztraminer from Mendoza, Argentina.
Sweet natural White Wine. This wine was made by combining the traditional Alsace variety with selct ripe berries grown in the Finca El Paraiso's vineyard. The aim is for the berries to ripen in the vineyard until the drying process, in order to achieve sugars that are naturally concentrated and balanced with an elegant sweetness. This Gewurztraminer is a sweet, generous and balanced with wine, perfect to accompany complex flavours, such as provolone cheese or foie gras, and fruit-based desserts.
