Organized by the Guild of Fine Food, they are considered the "Oscars" of the food world. The awards are judged purely on taste, with all products being blind-tasted by a panel of expert judges, including chefs, food critics, and fine food retailers.

The awards provide a trusted "stamp of approval" for consumers. When a product earns a Great Taste star, it signifies that it has been rigorously tested and recognized for its exceptional quality and flavour, giving you the confidence that you are purchasing a truly special product.

The awards use a simple star system to rate products:

We are beyond proud to have been awarded a 1-star Great Taste Award for our Beef Empanadas. This award is a landmark moment because we are the first and only producers in the UK to have received a Great Taste Award for an authentic Argentinian-style empanada. This award is a testament to the quality and authenticity of our products, and it helps put Argentinian cuisine on the map in the UK.

Our empanadas are made the Argentinian way, with careful attention to every detail:

• We use prime quality minced beef with 12% fat to ensure a juicy filling.
• Our unique spice blend includes hand-selected Argentinian Cumin, Smoked Paprika, and Aji Molido to bring out the natural flavor of the meat.
• We use our own handmade-style Argentinian Empanada pastry discs, rolled to the perfect thickness to crisp up beautifully.
• They are cooked from frozen with no compromise on taste.
