A softly fruity Malbec rosé for easy lunches and unhurried catch-ups

Pequeña Vasija Rose - 750ml is the sort of rosé to reach for when you want a chilled glass that feels gentle, fruity and easy to enjoy. Fresh strawberry and peach aromas lead into delicate floral notes and a subtle touch of vanilla, while the palate stays refreshing and light on its feet.

There is a little softness in its light sweetness and a rounded finish, rather than a sharp or austere feel. Pour it as an aperitif, take it to a relaxed lunch, or set it alongside salads, grilled vegetables, seafood or simply prepared chicken.

Made from 100% Malbec in Tupungato, Mendoza, this is a young, fresh Argentine rosé with an approachable fruit-forward style. Serve it chilled at 10–12°C.

  • Fresh strawberry and peach aromas make the first pour feel bright and inviting.
  • Gentle floral notes and a subtle vanilla touch add interest without making the wine feel heavy.
  • A refreshing, delicate palate with light sweetness gives it a soft, easy-going character.
  • The rounded finish makes it a relaxed choice for an aperitif or an unhurried lunch.
  • It is a practical match for salads, grilled vegetables, seafood and simply prepared chicken.

The story behind the wine

Pequeña Vasija Rosé is made by Bodega La Rural, a Mendoza producer whose story began in 1885. Its founder, Felipe Rutini, was an Italian immigrant from Ascoli Piceno in Le Marche, who came to Argentina as an agronomist, bringing with him the winemaking knowledge he had learned at home.

Rutini built Bodega La Rural in Coquimbito, Maipú, an early wine-growing area of Mendoza. When he died in 1919, his wife and children continued the work, carrying the winery’s pioneering spirit forward. The family later planted vineyards in the Uco Valley in 1924, an important early step in its Mendoza wine story.

This bottle is listed as coming from Tupungato, in Mendoza. Tupungato is one of the three departments that make up the Uco Valley, alongside San Carlos and Tunuyán. That local setting gives the wine a clear Mendoza provenance, while its style remains uncomplicated: a fresh Malbec rosé made for enjoying now.
