Laborum Torrontés Single Vineyard is made at Finca El Retiro in the Cafayate Valley of Salta, in north-west Argentina.
This wine is made from 100% Torrontés, Argentina's signature aromatic white grape.
Yes. The grapes are grown at 1,650 metres above sea level in the Cafayate Valley, helping the wine keep its freshness, aromatic character and lively acidity.
It is fresh, fragrant and bright, with lime and citrus notes, a delicate floral character reminiscent of rose, and a crisp, balanced finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested in three separate picks, then whole-bunch pressed and cool-fermented for 30 days. The wine spends three months on its lees and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, helping it stay fresh and vibrant.
Serve it chilled with seafood, grilled fish, chicken, salads, ceviche, lightly spiced dishes, Argentine empanadas or as an aperitif before a meal.
