Meet Our Halal Black Label Argentine Fillet Rioplatense

From Rioplatense, the producer behind the World’s Best Grass-Fed Fillet at the 2024 World Steak Challenge, this exceptional halal Argentine beef fillet is made for occasions that deserve something truly special, or simply a well-deserved treat. Raised on the lush Pampas Plains, this premium whole fillet comes from carefully selected Hereford and Angus cattle, known for their tenderness, flavour and quality.

This is not simply a premium fillet. Rioplatense was awarded World’s Best Grass-Fed Fillet at the 2024 World Steak Challenge, one of the world’s leading independent steak competitions, where entries are assessed anonymously by an international panel of meat experts, chefs, butchers and industry specialists. Every steak is judged both raw and cooked on appearance, marbling, aroma, flavour, succulence, tenderness and texture.

Raised on Argentina’s open Pampas, the cattle graze freely on nutrient-rich grass and have access to natural water sources. The region’s wide-open pasture and traditional cattle-rearing approach help give Argentine beef the rich flavour and tender texture for which it is loved.

The cattle are then carefully grain-finished to enhance the fillet’s delicate marbling and deepen its flavour. The result is a beautifully balanced halal beef fillet with a buttery, melt-in-the-mouth texture, a succulent bite and a rich, refined finish that needs little more than good seasoning and careful cooking.

Hand-selected and expertly prepared, this Black Label Argentine beef fillet is supplied as a whole fillet, ready to become the centrepiece of a memorable meal. Roast it for a celebration, create an impressive halal Beef Wellington, or cut it into thick, restaurant-quality fillet steaks at home. However you serve it, this premium fillet brings the tenderness and unmistakable character of Argentine beef to the table.

Why Choose Our Halal Argentine Beef Fillet?

  • Premium halal Argentine beef: Our halal Argentine beef fillet, also known as tenderloin or bife de lomo, is selected for its exceptional tenderness, delicate flavour and impressive presentation. A premium whole fillet for special meals, generous hosting and memorable occasions.
  • Versatile and easy to serve: Roast this whole beef fillet for a celebration, create an impressive halal Beef Wellington, or cut it into thick, tender fillet steaks for a restaurant-quality dinner at home.
  • Naturally lean and full of flavour: Beef fillet is prized for its soft texture and relatively lean profile. It offers a satisfying, premium meal with plenty of flavour, without the heavy marbling found in cuts such as ribeye.
  • Less preparation, less waste: Supplied chain-off, meaning the chain muscle has already been removed. Your halal beef fillet is easier to prepare at home, whether roasting whole or portioning into steaks.
  • Mostly trimmed for convenience: A small amount of silver skin is left in place to protect the fillet during export and vacuum packing. It can be easily removed before cooking if preferred, so only light final trimming should be needed.

*Please note: the fillet shown in the image has been trimmed for presentation. The fillet you receive will have minimal silver skin left, requiring only a small amount of trimming before cooking.

If the cut you purchased is fresh, then yes—you can freeze it. Our thermal boxes are designed to keep products cool during delivery, maintaining a chilled temperature for up to 48 hours in transit.

Please note that our boxes are not designed to keep frozen products fully frozen during transit. Frozen items will begin to thaw once dispatched from our warehouse, even when packed in thermal boxes with ice packs.

If your product is frozen and arrives thawed out, we do not recommend refreezing it. Instead, cook it as soon as possible. After cooking, you can freeze your dish and store it in the freezer for later use.

While some of our meat products have a long shelf life, we don’t recommend storing them in a domestic fridge for that full period. Frequent opening causes temperature fluctuations that can affect freshness.

Our warehouse uses commercial refrigeration to keep meat at the optimum temperature. Once delivered, if you plan to use it within three days, it’s fine to keep in your fridge.

If you won’t cook it within three days, we recommend freezing it to lock in freshness and flavour. When ready to use, thaw the meat in the fridge for 24 hours to keep it cool and safe.

At Casa Argentina, we’re passionate about delivering the highest quality Argentine products with care and exceptional service.

If there’s ever an issue, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We’re committed to making it right—quickly and hassle-free.
